KEY DATES & TIMING PLAN

After every meeting we will post any new key dates to the timing plan. At the moment this is what you need to know. Please IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND any of the meetings but wish to contribute to the agenda you can leave your comments on this blog.

The blog will be printed off and used at meetings so we have a handle on everyone's contributions.

TUESDAY 11TH JUNE 07 - Location & time TBC on blog shortly

COMMITTEE MEETING – To be held in Edinburgh. Agenda will include discussion of any comments left to this post. Please comment with:
1) Fundraising ideas (designing & selling tshirts etc??)
2) Discussion on sponsors suggested so far
3) Any questions for venue?
4) We need some key players to champion and oversee certain areas. If you'd like to take one of these areas on board leave us a comment : Show layout , Finances , Promotion

FRIDAY 15TH JUNE 07 - DEADLINE ON PUBLICITY SUBMISSIONS

PLEASE ENSURE ANY SUBMISSIONS FOR DESIGNS FOR THE PROMOTIONAL PRINT ARE IN BY TODAY. PLEASE REFER TO THE EARLIER POST TO THIS BLOG OUTLINING CREATIVE BRIEF & SUBMISSIONS INSTRUCTIONS.

MONDAY 18TH JUNE 07 - DEADLINE TO LET US KNOW IF YOU'RE IN!

You will be receiving an email about this shortly once we have final confirmation on the dates from the venue (Curzon St). We will need to know by 18th June if you will exhibit in the off-site show 'Juicy'.

TUESDAY 19TH JUNE 07 - Time & Location TBC on blog shortly

COMMITTEE MEETING – Agenda will include:
1) Final selection of publicity print design
2) Brainstorming session about the layout of the off site show & private view attractions to drag in visitors

FRIDAY 22ND JUNE 07 - DEADLINE FOR PRINTING QUOTATIONS

We need to get the best price we can for the printing of the publicity print for the show. If you have contacts with a printing house please go ahead and get quotations. Full details of how many and sizes etc will be posted here soon. If anyone can get a printer to sponsor us and provide print (even if some of it has to be paid for by us) this would be fantastic! Any takers?

FRIDAY 29TH JUNE 07 - DEADLINE PUBLICITY ARTWORK

Publicity print artwork must be completed and ready to go to printing house today.

TUESDAY 3RD JULY 07

DEADLINE - Publicity print order must be placed and commenced today

Agenda to include provisions for distribution of publicity print (Where? Who? When?)


I'll leave it at that for the moment. Don't want swamp people. This plan is fluid and dynamic due to the nature of what we are doing. PLEASE keep checking back as updates will be posted here.

We don't really want to keep nudging people by email. We have lives to live and work to do too and it's easier to post here and rely on everyone to take this seriously and keep in touch via the blog.
